Ten Unique Concerts by the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra (JLCO);
Opening Night: “Hot Jazz and Swing” featuring the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis, music directed by Loren Schoenberg;
The 20th Anniversary of Frederick P. Rose Hall: Rubén Blades with iconic Brazilian band Boca Livre and Costa Rica’s Editus Ensemble in Rose Theater;Bryan Carter and the Jazz at Pride Orchestra celebrating the life and times of civil rights pioneer Bayard Rustin in The Appel Room;and Jon Faddis honoring the legacy of Dizzy Gillespie at Dizzy’s Club;
“Jazz Americana” – Music of America’s folk traditions performed by JLCO;
