New York, NY
(August 13, 2024) —

Jazz at Lincoln Center today announced Jazz Congress 2025 returns as a two-day event on Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2025, and Thursday, Jan. 9, 2025, at Frederick P. Rose Hall, home of Jazz at Lincoln Center, located at Broadway at 60th Street, New York, New York. The fifth edition of this unique conference brings together members of the global jazz community to nurture the bond between artists, media professionals, and industry leaders. Registration is open now at jazzcongress.org.

Panels and sessions slated for Jazz Congress 2025 include “Roy Haynes Centennial,” “Jukebox Jury,” and “Ask Us Anything.” The full slate of panels, workshops, keynote address, and other conference events will be announced shortly.

In addition to offering sessions curated by conference organizers, Jazz Congress invites the broader community to propose their own session ideas through a straightforward online application. Each individual may submit one session idea and must confirm at least one additional panelist for consideration. While session dates and times cannot be guaranteed, proposed panelists are encouraged to attend both days of Jazz Congress. Submissions can be made at jazzcongress.org/submitapanel. The deadline for submitting panel ideas is August 30, 2024, and the notification date for accepted entries will be September 24, 2024.

“Jazz Congress has uniquely brought together the global jazz community,” said Georgina Javor, Vice President, Concerts and Touring at Jazz at Lincoln Center. “Expanding the conference to a two-day event provides more opportunities for jazz musicians, educators, presenters, and industry figures to forge new connections and share insight. We’re looking forward to bringing the global community together again to engage in ideas and with each other.”
