Jazz at Lincoln Center today announced that Emerson S. Moore II, a veteran legal executive, has been named Vice President and General Counsel. Mr. Moore will serve as the organization’s chief legal officer, reporting to Executive Director Greg Scholl and working with Jazz at Lincoln Center’s executive leadership and Board of Directors to support the organization’s long-term direction and growth. Mr. Moore will lead Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Legal department and oversee all legal functions across a broad range of disciplines, including corporate, intellectual property, licensing and distribution, labor and employment, and corporate governance.

Mr. Moore joins Jazz at Lincoln Center from the Brooklyn Nets, where he served as Executive Vice President and Chief People Officer. As head of the company’s Human Resources department, he oversaw all HR functions, including payroll and employee relations matters. Prior to the Brooklyn Nets, Mr. Moore served as Executive Vice President, General Counsel, Head of Human Resources and Secretary of Radancy, a global leader in cloud-based talent acquisition software.
Mr. Moore began his legal career at Proskauer Rose LLP, where he spent seven years in the firm’s corporate practice. He received his Juris Doctorate from New York Law School and his Bachelor of Science from the University of Michigan.
