Coca-Cola Generations In Jazz Festival
The Third Annual Coca-Cola Generations In Jazz Festival, scheduled from September 5-October 7, 2012, features a full array of jazz performers with a multi-generational exploration of the spectrum of jazz tradition. Celebrating the great legends of jazz while seeking to create new ones, Dizzy’s Club Coca-Cola provides a happy home for musicians and listeners of all ages and backgrounds — all speaking a common language of swing. One of the many special highlights of this year’s festival is the club debut of new artists including Pharoah Sanders.
“Just like the music of jazz inspires you to move, Dizzy’s Club Coca-Cola has inspired moments of optimism and happiness for the last 8 years,” said Dana Barba, Vice President Region Commercialization, Northeast. “Performances by debut artist Pharoah Sanders will celebrate the wonder of possibility for all ages and backgrounds, and refresh the admiration for the timelessness of jazz.”
